I bought this refrigerator for a second refrigerator in the garage. I was glad that it came in black so it won't show the fingerprints of my grandchildren when they get water or pop out of it. The interior is perfect for holding the pop boxes and large shelves on the door to hold tall bottles. It will also be perfect to use when I am preparing a family meal in advance and for left overs. Thank you GE for a very nice product.

Simple energy efficient good value

This fridge is a good value, with an estimated annual operating cost of $39/year (370 kWh/year). While it doesn't have many clear drawers like my old fridge used to, the side panels on both the fridge and freezer are deep and allow for a lot of storage. The 2 big wire racks may get disorganized, but I'm going to try to keep it straight! More than big enough for my household of 2. And the top freezer is WAY better than my old bottom freezer.
The fridge is both quiet and loud: it is completely silent until the compressor comes on, then you can definitely hear it. Sometimes it will make a quiet high pitched squeak (was that the cat?). It doesn't seem like it kicks on much at all, however. All in all, the sound really doesn't bother me.
This fridge comes at a really good price, and if you don't need stainless steel (which can be annoying to keep clean), I recommend it. The bonus: I get to put magnets on my fridge again!

This is being used as a second refrigerator for added cold storage and is working out well for our use. Would prefer to have more shelf positions.

okay so This GE is a good deal and it is good I really like it! would! love it! but ! I had some problems with it leaking a little water any how they did help me where kind great customer service and I do like the new refrigerator ! allot! so thank guys!
