Very pretty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had it about 1 month and love the look of it as well as it works great. Only one caution...my old oven was 23 years old and you were supposed to broil with the door open. Not this oven, or I guess any new ovens. Door closed broiling. So now we're off and running. Love it !!

It is not super fancy with a lot of options, but has everything most people look for such as self-cleaning, timer, light and cooks perfectly. I would definitely purchase this again.

An Upgrade Worth the Amana Branding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the original Amana oven which came with the house was only 25 years old and was still "working", we decided to replace it with a 21st century model as we decided to do a makeover to the kitchen. I could not be more satisfied with the decision.
The controls were easy to learn even before reading the instructions. I especially like the timer function. It's always been the most used feature of the oven, even when not actually using the oven. That probably won't change.
Our first use of the oven was about a month after its purchase only because it was installed only recently....hence the review. Perfect timing. Pork baby back ribs and roasted brussel sprouts was the fare. Came out beautifully. Next came a calzone my son made from scratch. That too came out beautifully.
In addition to cooking meals, I might just start baking desserts again.

Great Oven for a great Price - Easy to install

I purchased this oven on-line from a major Big Box Retailer and discovered only after they missed two delivery appointments that it was discontinued. I was disappointed, because I was looking for a no frills wall oven to replace a 24 year old Jenn-Aire convection oven. We replaced other appliances about 5 years ago and we were not interested in replacing the other appliances with stainless at this time, as we are planning to remodel kitchen in 5+/- years and will invest in stainless steel appliance at that time. Sadly the number of "Black" appliances is dwindling. To my surprise the store had a display model for an unbelievable price. We purchased the display model and saved almost $600 off the original on-line purchase price. I found that it was fairly easy to install despite missing some hardware. I tired to find hardware from online parts suppliers, but was unsuccessful. I especially liked the adjustable feet that allowed me to install without enlarging the existing cabinet opening. The vent trim and vent were a bit difficult to figure out, but they will go together, despite what an earlier reviewer stated, but you just have to be smarter than average. I suppose that being an engineer puts me well above the smarter than average group:)
Despite the single top heating element the oven maintains temperature very well. We do miss convection cooking, but we really only used convection during the holidays, when every inch of the oven's shelves were full. If not overloaded temperature control is not an issue.

Lots of great options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is wide enough for two pizza pans side by side! The entire door is glass and there is a bright light so you watch what is baking without opening the door. I love the fact that the bottom unit is not exposed and you can just wipe out any spills! Yeah!!
