Pre Windows 10, great printer!

This is our 6th MFC & was great...until we went to Windows 10. We downloaded new drivers for it, but you lose features with Win 10. Ease of use is no longer there. Duplex printing is now cumbersome. Very disappointed.

Still having problems

While this machine does a lot, it still is having the same problem with the wrinkling paper that the older models had.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good scanning, bad printing

Machine does great with scanning. We use it at a small office on a network, and everyone is able to connect and scan fairly easily. There are some settings needing to be done using a fairly easy to use controller module on every computer that wants to receive scans.
Unfortunately the printing has been poor from the very beginning. Printer puts creases in first 2 pages of every print job. Most pages after that come out OK. Also creases anything fed through the fold-out tray. OK if for internal use, but not acceptable to be shown to anyone. Oddly, printing envelopes works fine, has never creased a single envelope, only full 8-1/2x11 pages. Also printing on heavier bonded paper (like checks) works better, no creases.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice printer/copier/scanner/fax!

I purchased this for a small tax practice. So far it works very well. I have always used HP printers in the past. Decided to use Brothers this time in hopes of saving on the toner costs. If the toner produces the number of pages it claims, I will save a lot. I am about to purchase another one to use as main copier for tax returns.

amazing printer

Our last printer was the comparable brother from 6 years ago. No comparasion. This printer fills all our needs and does such a wonderful job. Easy to use. Almost set itself up without a hitch. Print is amazing.

Super nice printer and more

Everything works as expected or better. This printer is easy to setup and simple to learn, very use friendly. I have encountered one issue, when it starts it draw 11.4 amps of power causing other sensitive electronics on the same breaker (my modem and router) to reboot. Otherwise this printer is excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!
