This lamp is very usefull for his brightening.

Nice little niche light

I just got my second PowerLight. I use it in spaces where we don't have good lighting and are not going to pull wires or have space for a lamp. One is our bedroom closet. I'm now able to pick out appropriate clothes.

good light

I got a replacement for this light under warrenty and got a reply to right a review so here it goes. Light was sent back because the plug where you put the cord in to charge the unit broke. So the little female plug broke and fell in the light itself. Warranty was awesome! Very painless, very prompt replies and I got my new light in the mail in a week or so. The new light so fair is working great. The plug in that I had issues with is fine, but could use a little tweaking in its design, just feels a little awkward pluging it in. good light!

Great Light!

With the first charge I wanted to see how long the power light would last. I put it on the single lantern, lowest dim. After 90 hours it was still lit but charge indicator flashing. Awesome! I had it at work for those four days and my coworkers were very impressed! I ended up buying three more as gifts for folks that I know will appreciate its functionality. My brother runs a non profit and travels to far away places that are sketchy. He will love this unit. Torch, dimming, lantern, charging a phone are all great. The only complaint I might have is the buttons are difficult to push and find in the dark. But, since it stays lit for 90 hours who needs to turn it off? Maybe its me but it feels silky and comforting to hold. Yeah, maybe just me.Can't wait to camp with this thing!

Versatile and bright

Versatile. Bright but dimable. Buttons are hard to press which is annoying in use outside the backpack, in the bp its a good thing :) Lantern has gotten most use as nite light at half side on lowest dim. Sits well on narrow window sill. Battery life is amazing. Have charged up cellie to 50%. Used torch to see what cat was playing with in yard.

Replacement power light

Upon contacting biolite concerning a non charging power light they said they would send a replacement as soon as possible. Replacement was in the UK within a week. Top customer service from an innovative company.

Great EDC!!!

To have a LANTERN and flash light is ideal when carrying light. But that lantern is an amazing feature because the light is really uniform and bright! To also have the ability to charge your phone is a plus! This light is smart enough to stop charging your phone to keep a little bit more power for emergency lighting. And so far, the little light left in the battery goes a LONG WAY!
The handle with the integrated loop to attach to any rope without tying through the handle is GENIUS. And to add extra sight lights to this Nanogrid light will make your base camp so much better! You can tell everything was really well thought of for the survivalist, emergency carry, and everyday use.

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Well engineered and designed. The site lights and lantern combine to make any campsite a much more pleasant place to be. The customer service from biolite is second to none. The original item sent was faulty but the staff at the customer service department were quite simply brilliant. As with all my biolite kit you will not be disappointed . Thanks.
