Lots of light with light weight

Just got to use the powerlite and 2 sitelites this weekend. Easy to fit in backpack and worked great to light the camp site and tent. We also purchased a 10 by 10 ft. canopy and we hung the lights on 3 corners of the canopy with great results. This is an awesome tool and a "must-have" for any camper or hiker.

Winter camp with the NanoGrid

Another must have product from BioLite!
Core essentials for the modern off-grid camper now includes a power source for your 5v devices. For me personally as a Scout Leader, this also means I can be relied on to have an emergency phone available if needed at all times.
Designing what amounts to a small handheld device around a very high storage li-ion battery was very well conceived. If that was all it was I'd be satisfied...but wait! It's also a high lumen output lantern, and a dual LED flashlight in cool white that really cuts through the night. The SiteLight chainable extension lights (included) worked well, and did not dim the lantern when plugged in the main light.
I used the kit this past weekend in -16C temperatures, charged my iPhone from dead twice, and used the light itself for approximately 8 hours and still has 50% charge when I got home.
I'd like to see a built in hanger on the next generation of the SiteLight, to make hanging them easier, I always have an assortment of twist ties, small carabiners and twine with me so it was not a real issue.
100% would recommend the NanoGrid to anyone looking to not only consolidate their lantern, flashlight and battery backup into one device, but also for the quality and customer support in dealing with BioLite.

Great light, but odd color from additional site lights...

The light works great and as expected. I bought the nano-grid plus an additional set of site lights. The additional site lights were not the same 'color' as the ones that came with the nano-grid. The nano-grids site lights were a nice white, but the additional ones I purchased were a faded yellowish color. I returned them to REI and exchanged for a new set, bu the new ones still had 'yellow' lights. Kinda bummed that all my lights are not the same color, but what can I do?

I now own all of BioLite products except BaseCamp which at the moment I have no requirement for. Maybe in the future.Very happy with the product and even more so with customer service.Had two problems with NanoGrid product.One was a minor design problem(waterproof plug on main unit) wouldn't stay plugged in. Shocked at how quickly Biolite addressed and fixed this problem. Like asking for help from an old friend.Second problem was related to my wife's cat thinking the 10 foot cord on one of my SiteLights was its new chew toy! This time I was treated like an old friend who they owed a favor!Thanks Dale. I believe the only thing better than their product is BioLites service and pride in what they sell and what BioLite is doing for the disadvantaged around the globe.I believe in karma and expect BioLite to be around for along time.Plus one of the great features of the NanoGrid is it can be charged by an external battery pack while running to greatly extend it's run time. Or even your car or all terrain vehicle thru a usb connection for a run time beyond anything that would be useful. Fantastic product for back packers for sure.

Great product

I love anything biolite. The flash lights are really nice but I do find that they are heavier then I expected. My daughter and I are planning to hike the Pacific Crest Trail real soon and wanted to add the Nano Grid items to our BioLite items. The whole idea of backpacking for long distance is to keep your backpack as light as possible, so every ounce counts. I read that the lights were 7 ounces when I ordered them but didn't realize just how heavy 7 ounces are until they arrived. All in all, we love every product produced by Biolitestoves.com and we wouldn't even consider trading the weight for batteries. I can't wait to go on another training hike and use your products again. Last week we cooked with our camp stove, used the lights and boiled our water for hot tea. Thank you for making these wonderful products.

Rad BioLite NanoGrid enhanced my experience!

BioLite has always been a favorite of mine between their incredible, reliable, innovative products and their awesome ethos. Theyve continued to excite me with their new NanoGrid. A new charging and lighting system, it includes two separate components (1) the PowerLighta three-in-one rechargeable battery, lantern, and flashlight, and (2) two SiteLights. I love its pocket size (and light weight), the light is bright, but atmospheric (easy to be around and important to me while out in the wilderness), and it was so great to charge my phone so I could capture the special moments. So cook some dinner under the lights and snap a few photos by your fire while roasting marshmallows! BioLite has done it again!

First, I have to disclose that I just received the Nano Grid yesterday. I have not field tested it yet, which is something I will do next Spring. I did test it in my home in a dark room though. Once it was fully charged, I strung the lights up in a pitch black room in my basement. These things are BRIGHT. Lit the entire room without issue. The lantern itself screams quality and is easy to operate. The puck lights are very light weight and very bright as well. One pleasant surprise is that the cords on the puck lights are an actual rope type material. This is a very cool feature and ensures easy usability when hanging them and will also make them last much longer. Once the lantern was charged, my iPhone 6S Plus (which also has a Mophie case) recognized the device and started charging. Really happy with my purchase so far!!!

Everything we have gotten through biolight has been amazing! The NanoGrid flashlight and string lights are no exception. I got my husband 2 sets of the string lights because he loves cooking on the biolight stove and goes crazy with recipes that require good lighting and a safe distance (from his flying spatula and wild pan flipping)! The main flashlight we use every day. Our barn is far from our home and it has been perfect for walking down the road, checking on hiding chickens, collecting eggs at night, and finding the light switches! The lantern portion is perfect for the goats and sheep because it helps me check in with them without blinding them in the process. I can't say enough about how great this company is and I will continue to purchase anything they are offering!
