Incredibly useful flashlight. I love having it around as a backup battery, so I travel with it always. The only design flaw is that hook handle should attach more towards the center balance point. At its current location, I cannot get the light to hang and stay at adjusted angles, despite the advertised ability to do so, due to its supposed resistive attachment.
This thing gives off a lot of light. The beam for spotlighting works perfectly. Add the two site lights and you have a great little camp light or even a good work light.
I love the metal hanging feature. When camping I hook in onto my belt loop on my pants. Perfect hands-free path illumination. The light is soft but bright.
I found the system easy to use and with the cords extended fully I had as much light as you would find from a dining room overhead. The cords could be a bit heftier but all in all the lights worked well and stayed lit much longer than I had anticipated. The switches and ports could be identified better but overall I was pleased.
well I like to try things at home before i get outside, fails by trial n error , so I did a drill at home . we turned off all the power for an hour ( we turned off the breakers ) , didn't want the fridge getting warm LOL so as in to assimilate a power outage ! better to practice , Ive been through a few earth quakes ! i live in the bay area . so we hit the switch and used our phone to find our way around the home. found our powerlite bundle assembled it and turned it WAHOO lights ! the neighbors were like are you guys ok the lights suddenly went out ? we were YA just practicing for a power outage , they were amazed with our lights and happy to have well prepared neighbors ..
