The Best Cooking Device Ever

My girl-friend and I are full time travellers. We work all over the country and just loved the compact size of the Base Camp stove. We wish we can have a sample here in our country, it is really good for an outdoor cooking. we discovered how safe it is, compared to other cooking devices. I do not like to keep liquid fuels as they are very dangerous.

Prepper's Delight!

I have the small stove and it works like a champ! The "BaseCamp" came and a fire was started using some oak that I use for heating the house. I cooked a concoction of ground venison steak, ground bacon and Sloppy Joe mix until the robust fire got small. The experiment was a success and the big stove works like a champ also.

Wonderful Camp Stove for Alaska

I love my BioLite BaseCamp so much I am getting a second one for our farm in ND so I can grill there also. I love the fact that I am not burning propane or white gas. That it heats up and is ready to cook on faster than charcoal. And best of all the food tastes better cooked over wood. I use it all the time as my main grill at home as well as truck camping. I used it last year to grill salmon and caribou for 15 people who came up to Alaska for a touring family reunion. I am a wildlife biologist in Alaska and this would be a great addition as cooking gear for a summer field camp of several people. It would save considerable on the cost of cooking fuel and transporting the fuel to a remote field camp. There is no shortage dead wood on the Yukon Flats. I also own the pizza dome and a BioLite camp stove.
