It is a must have if you have a campfire stove. Fits over the stove perfectly. I can even put small twigs through the vent holes at the bottom without lifting the kettle. The lid gets easier to put on and remove with practice. Love it!

Poor lid design great pot

I bought this pot over a year ago and I was so excited I went out and tested it out the day it showed up I heated up some water and added a tea bag and poured myself a cup of tea but mid poor I heard a creak and afterwards I looked back and it was cracked I was so sad I was expecting high standards from Biolite I really enjoyed their stove and was going to make this my first choice for camping and hiking as it is lighter and hotter than my camping fuel and camping stove but the more I used the pot the more cracks appeared and I lost confidence and now I am scared that I will be pooping someone water and the lid will shatter and spill boiling water all over them I love the product and the team that created it it’s just not a safe product anymore the photos show the big cracks but many more hair line cracks are not big enough for my camera to capture
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
