I love CampStove so I'm really sorry to say, that weak point of system is blue plastik lid. After about 20 times it was used lid shows cracks on top part. So I hope it can be improved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product, Works great with the portable stove. Heats fast, fantastically portable.
The only draw back is that you have to be careful where you place the lid, because you cant order just the lid if it breaks, (or melts). It would be great if you could order replacement parts instead of a whole new kettle.

Fantastic pot, heats water quickly, fits on stove perfectly; however, it could use both oz & ml markings on the inside.

Kettle Pot and Camp Stove a Great Match
on April 3, 2016

I just finished a 4 day grueling, but awesome, backpacking hike on the 76 mile SC Foothills Trail with a 35 lb. pack. I hiked 17 miles each day for 3 days and did the last day of 25 miles in 18 hrs. I'm 5'3", 135 lbs. I'm 65 years old. I took my BioLite Camp Stove and Kettle Pot. One criticism I heard about the stove was that it was too heavy to back pack. I agree there are lighter alternatives but not that much lighter considering the fuel and cooking pot you have to pack. I did not want to carry fuel for 5-6 potential days. I love the versatility of having an off grid fuel source without worrying about fuel spills. Fuel gets expensive and you have to pack out empty containers. I cooked 2 meals a day and never had to worry about running out of fuel. Since the stove only uses a very small amount of twigs to cook a meal I would pick up a few on the trail when rain was in the forecast. The Kettle Pot is a must. It fits so well on the stove, is protected from wind with it's design, it heats water/food quickly and you can drink out of it because the top stays cool. I have recommended the camp stove a dozen times and I always recommend the pot with it as a must!

Tip of the hat

Thanks to the fulfillment team. The lid of my kettle pot broke awhile back and it took some doing to find the right person but a new lid was received the other day and another BSA campout with coffee was enjoyed. A few of the BSA leadership have been coming by a camp for a couple of years, nosing for a cup of Joe knowing that 525 always has a warm cup of coffee first thing. All because the bio stove/kettle pot is the best thing for cooking and heating. Kudo's. Monthly user 3rd year and going strong.

Great concept. That said, it takes a long time to boil a full pot. 2 cups... that’s ok. 3 cups is pushing it.

I own the Biolite kettle, stove and grill attachment. In order of appearance, the kettle is an excellent design. It holds more than enough of whatever you are cooking for at least 2 people. It is extremely efficient, sturdy and lightweight. Couldn't imagine a better kettle and I was once a jetboil fan. It gets a "10". The stove, while also very efficient and performs completely as promised has 2 distinct drawbacks. The first is it's weight. I can't see what could be changed to decrease the weight and it isn't enough to keep it out of our EWLS (Extended Wilderness Living System), but it's a bit heavy for ounce counting backpackers and the like. The second drawback is the lack of a side fuel port. I believe that the newest stove design has a side feeding fuel port. I wish that the original did as well. This means the small model stove gets an "8". BUT the concept gets a full "10". Finally, the grill attachment is another perfect "10". Very light, works, wonderfully and just large enough. I plan on adding the lights to our Biolite kitchen and someday the next largest model.
