I bought the Gladiator Chillerator a few months ago because my regular garage fridge rusted out in only a few years. I had purchase the Gladiator storage units and just loved how useful that purchase was. The Gladiator Chrillerator is wonderful. I stores more than a regular fridge and looks great. I also purchased the wheels that go on it so it's very easy to move for cleaning. Every that comes over says it the best looking garage they have ever seen.

I really wanted this to work in my garage. It is supposed to work in extreme temperatures. I had 3 service repair visits within the first 7 months. One was for a thermostat recall which I discovered not Whirlpool!! (They don't notify customers about recalls unless it is a danger)!! It either freezes in the freezer & refrig part in not cold enough or the freezer doesn't freeze but the refrigerator freezes all the vegetables & have veggies have to be thrown out, not editable!! Yesterday 12-27-16 I just receives a replacement Whirlpool Gladiator Chillerator. I will give my update.

After several failed refrigerators in our garage in New England. We purchased the Gladiator. So far it has been excellent and we have had a long, bitterly cold winter. I like that is sits off the floor - keeps the mice damage down! It has a good sized refrigerator and great freezer space. So far we are very happy.

When our Chillerator was delivered we plugged it in and the freezer work d but the refrigerator did not. We had to have another delivered to replace it. We noticed within the first week The freezer had moisture droplets in the door frame so we had to call an appliance repair who had to order a new seal for our NEW Chillerator. It will be installed this week. Hopefully it will solve the problem. We've had a rough beginning. Hopefully, this is not an indication of a bad purchase. We needed a new refrigerator/freezer for our garage and this was recommended to us.

I bought this refrigerator online, having never seen it, and it looks and works as good as I hoped. The internal door storage is sub-optimal for beverage storage. I can't figure out what is was designed to hold. Otherwise the appliance is what I wanted.

We purchased our model back in 2004, then called the Freezerator. Top side "refrigerator" has always operated well, although when our kids slammed the door shut it would often pop open the lower "freezer" door. Not good, especially in summer months. One issue that has always persisted is the ice buildup and clogging of the drain line which causes the water to drain into lower compartment and freeze. Only fix is to removal of all items and then a manual defrosting. This is a real pain as this unit houses most of our frozen goods because our indoor unit has a very narrow and small freezer unit. From other reviews, it appears as though the same issue persists with newer models.

Got this to replace a 25 year old refrigerator, that was moved to the garage. Newer models will not work in our northern climate. Not quite sure how to keep the fingerprints off the front door.
