When looking for an extra refrigerator for our garage, I was told about the Gladiator. Both my husband and I are absolutely thrilled with this purchase. Living in New England, I wanted to be prepared for winter with an extra stock of items that need refrigeration. It has filled the bill perfectly. Thanks for making such a wonderful product.

I bought this to go in a shop for a beverage refrigerator. All the shop shelving and cabinets were from the Gladiator line so I thought this would be a great addition. It looked great but within 2 years the compressor was shot and cost almost as much to repair as a new refrigerator would cost. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I guess our model would be the classic style, owned this chillerator top mount fridge with lower freezer since 2008. Chiller operates in the high desert garage environment very well, where temps reach over 100 degrees. You must monitor a few things on a weekly basis, first the fridge temperature, adjustments in accordance with ambient temps, next is the ice buildup and blockage of the drain behind the upper compartment back wall, which needs removal of perishables and manual defrosting. Any fix Whirlpool?

We bought this a few years ago for our annual half a cow - and we always have room to spare! Love this freezer/fridge! Plus, in the summer the top is great to hold beverages.

I like the frig but when it was delivered the compressor was not wporking. Whirlpool did not want to replace but wanted to fix. It would have been a refrubished at that point. They later agreed after a month or so. Other than Whirlpool the Frig seems to fit the purpose.
