I have always used a pull-behind carry-on luggage and this 4-wheel "spinner" is a dream. The first walk through miles of an airport made this money well spent as I barely had to put pressure on the handle to have it right beside me (a little more pressure if the airport has rug). I roll my cloths and stand them vertical so I can see everything as I live out of my suitcase; there was plenty if not more room than a past carry-on I owned. I put a small travel pillow in the front zipper pouch, but when I tried to put the case in the overhead bin, the pillow had to be removed; so, the main luggage compartment definitely maxes the carry-on space. I didn't utilize the extra expansion zipper, which will be nice if I need to carry more items (then, it will have to be checked since it will be too big for the overhead bin expanded). This luggage is well made and the zippers all quality. The only part of the bag that seems flimsy are the handles which have a lot of wiggling going on, especially since this is what you are using to move the luggage along, but they survived my first round trip fine - it is the only part I will watch carefully over time.

I purchased this carry on after my last flight disaster of running through Atlanta with a backpack carry on that had no wheels!!! Never again so I purchased this Swiss Gear Carry On and it is a gift from heaven!!! Well made!! Wheels make it feel like it is floating!!! Great price and easy to purchase. The Swissgear 6283 is similar to my old bag, but instead of the shoe netting, I get one big netting. I prefer the old design. I like the spinner and the mobility of the bag. And Swissgear bags hold up well to the wear and tear of traveling every week.

I purchased two of the Swissgear 6283 21" expandable spinner suitcases. My husband and I needed something smaller for short trips. We were very suprised that we were able to get a weeks worth of clothes in this suitcase with room to spare. I did not pack bulky sweaters or extra shoes, but I also did not pack anything in the outside pockets. The suitcase is solidly constructed and we plan to buy the next larger size for longer trips.
