Horrible Refrigerator

1st the ice machine stopped working, they replaced whatever part they thought was broken. Worked for about 2 weeks then the ice stopped working again, the refrigerator couldn't get below 55degrees, the freezer couldn't get below 40degrees. They attempted another repair of the compressor which didn't really fix anything. So then they replaced the solenoid valve which controls the flow of the refrigerant to the different systems, that didn't help. After almost 6 months of tech appointments, repairs and thrown out food later they replaced the entire refrigerator, which they didn't send all of the parts for and it needed to be repaired within a week of being received. It still isn't working properly, the compressor(s) don't shut off, the bottom refrigerator drawer lighting and cooling isn't working properly and the ice/water dispenser is broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm happy with everything about this refrigerator except the doors don't close unless you push them closed. You HAVE to pushed them shut.

Our new Whirlpool french door Refrigerator gold series is great. We are delighted by the flexible storage area, shelf arrangement, ice maker, and freezer configuration, but--Your Ice delivery system needs work.Water outlet and Ice outlet are too far apart . I had to add a 1/4 in block in front of the dispensing bar so we could use our usual tumblers to get ice and water without spillage

Great Refrigerator

Bought it to go in a new house that we built. Looks great and works great! Tons of space for anything you'd need it for. Tons of door space. In door ice maker works great without taking up too much room. Measured fill for water is very handy. Love the drawer in the freezer and the pizza compartment in the freezer door. Overall a great buy!

Has great features. Very efficient. It has plenty of space inside. Probably a little more than what the wife and need. I guess we will just have to stock up.I don't like the fact that you have to open up both doors to pull out the bottom and small middle drawers. And it's a little more difficult to fill a small glass with water. The water spout is a little too far forward. You have to push the lever with one hand while holding the glass in the other. If it is a small glass or cup you could spill.Other than that its a great unit.

Adjustable shelves make personalizing storage easy.

Like the door storage and the adjustable shelves. The long drawer at the bottom, though is flimsy and hard to use without pulling the pieces apart.

lots of room, but high maintenance

We have had the fridge for ~ 3 weeks. It keeps the food cold and, in the freezer, frozen. Lights inside are bright. The "no fingerprints" stainless steel shows every fingerprint. Needs to be cleaned daily!

The only thing I would change would be on the shelves--there needs to be something so things won't fall off the inside of the shelves.
