Headed to the dump with our spoiled food

It died young, only 6 1/2 years old. Whirlpool brand will not be considered for any future appliance needs.

Awful experience

Purchased August 2012 for a brand new kitchen. We've had several issues with the ice maker (been replaced twice), issues with the motherboard (replaced), issues with the sealing of the freezer (replaced), issues with the temperature in the freezer (seemed to fix itself after 2 weeks of weird noises) and now the freezer is out, the ice compartment can't maintain a temperature cold enough to keep ice frozen so water constantly runs out through the ice dispenser and into the floor. We are done - would love to drop this off on Whirlpool's front porch and leave it. Called and was told there were no "known" issues with the fridge - have they read the reviews?

I choose this refrigerator for the features. Within 4 months I had a moisture problem. The Ice maker was also overfilling. The repairman had to order parts. The kit to fix the moisture problem took over a month to come. The part to fix the over filling took over two months to come. The kit fixed the moisture problem. By the time the second part came the refrigerator was not cooling and the freezer was not freezing. This refrigerator is a lemon. I think Whirlpool should replace my refrigerator. It is obvious that they rushed this model to fast without checking it out.

Parts go bad.

Bought this in 2014. Had to have several parts (sealed system) replaced in December of 2017. Parts are going bad again. Same problem as last time. It’s not making ice, not cooling or keeping things frozen. Did not buy from box store. We bought from a dealer and asked for a quality product. I know this is no longer available to purchase but wanted people to be aware that whirlpool will not stand behind their products. I did not receive a sweepstakes entry for my review.

This fridge opened a whole new world for me. The lighting is so good and having the whole top as fridge gives me so much more room. All the compartments are very handy.

We purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago. We have had to have it serviced 15+ times. At least 3 ice makers replaced. Ice maker has leaked so much the door hinges are rusting. This has been a horrible product. Yes, it is noisy and you will need ice cube trays to make your own ice when this one is being repaired. unhappy with Whirlpool and the local retailer who just keep trying to fix it.

I am loving this fridge

I was a bit weary. I wanted another large two fridge. freezer on top. But the largest one we could find was 18cft. So i decided on this one with three doors, freezer on bottom, ice in door of the fridge. it is working out great, i think i am convinced.
