Exactly as expected...great addition to our kitchen

We purchased this about a month ago. It has delighted us with some great features. One that I particularly appreciate is the built in air quality filter. Instead of that box of baking soda - waiting to be accidently knocked over and spill, this refrigerator has one built in. Another is the water filter for the ice/water dispenser. It is great to have ice that doesn't leave residual foul tastes, because the water has been filtered.We also greatly appreciate the individual temperature control for the beverage storage drawer. The grandkids love having the extra cold beverages!Overall we could not be more pleased with this unit.

Bought this 3 months ago. Things I like: it's large, ice/water feature has nice auto fill glass feature.This to improve: door alarm is too soft & too short an alarm. Water spout on door water/ice feature is too far forward from push paddle. Made for larger containers. Would be nice to be able to have another shelf that could hold larger objects on the door. Right door has tendency to be pushed open from pressure of other door being closed. Better to have a center plate on one door that keeps them both closed. Motor noise is louder than most other fridges we've owned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Concept

Bought it just before Easter and the outside of the ice maker started freezing over. There is also ice build-up around the opening the ice comes out. The repair tech took one look and said that he has seen this problem before. Not enough insulation. Whirlpool makes a kit to replace the original insulation. Kit was installed and within a week the same problem developed.The tech was going to attempt a second repair but to my surprise the store called yesterday and told me that Whirlpool is exchanging the fridge.If not for the ice maker problem I would give it 4 stars. It is a little noisy.

Love This Frig!

Love the layout of the drawers and shelves on top and the bottom freezer with it's sliding drawer on the bottom. The touch screen controls on the front work beautifully. Very roomy inside which is something we sacrificed when we bought our side by side 20 years ago. That was a mistake. Did have one small problem when a drawer popped out of its sliding slot soon after we bought it. Had a little difficulty reinserting it so called the store who sent out a technician. He had it back in within 3 minutes. No charge. Very happy with our purchase. Worth every penny!

We are so impressed with the quietness of our new refrigerator. We also appreciate the water filtering system; we actually drink the water, now. The special filters for the produce truly work as well.

Wonderful configuration.

We were forced to buy a refrigerator in about ten minutes and have never spent so much money in so few minutes. I love the French doors with the freezer drawer at the bottom. It is much easier to find items in the top than in a side by side. Frozen items don't fall on your toes either. I would definitely recommend it. However, after only six months of minimal use our winter home) it is telling us we should change the filter which seems like a short life span.

I bought this a few months ago and am in love with my purchase. It is beautiful on the outside and roomy on the inside. I can load up at the grocery store and still have plenty of room for storing leftovers. I am happy that is does not leave fingerprints. I am totally satisfied with my purchase!

Water and Ice... Very Nice

What we noticed first was the programmable water dispenser. For instance, you can program the fridge to dispense 11 ounces into your glass, put toast into the toaster then come back and grab your water. Handy for adding specific amounts of water for recipes etc. no measuring cup required! We ended up removing the built in water filter since we have our drinking water filtered to the fridge and kitchen sink already. We had our eye on this french door unit before we started our renovations. To accommodate this fridge seamlessly with the counters and cabinets we extended the wall behind the fridge another 6 inches. Now we need to organize the fridge more efficiently, it's so huge that we just end up putting items in without thinking then we don't know which door to open to find what we need. The bottom freezer holds a lot of food as well. My beer fridge is now obsolete as the extra fridge and freezer volume takes care of additional item stored previously. I guess I'll have to exercise more since my usual walk is now shorter!
