Ice maker/Water could be improved and door can be easily lef

Overall, I am pretty happy with this refrigerator. The temperature seems to stay pretty consistent throughout and the space is easily organized with the adjustable shelving. My only complaints come from the ice maker/water lever response and positioning of the water spout, as well as how the left door can be left ajar easily without any warning sounding.With the ice maker/water lever, it appear to take a little more effort than I would like for the lever to engage to release water and ice. I know, your thinking, "How hard could it be to use the ice maker... you just push the cup in and it should put ice in the cup." Well, what I have found is that with this model it is where you position the top of the cup that makes all the difference on the response. The lever activates pretty high up, close to the ice shoot, so the easiest cups to fill are ones that are pretty tall. With shorter, wider cups, your fingers wrapped around the cup, can get in the way. If the area to engage the lever was a little lower, it would probably be easier.As for the position of the water spout, this may also have something to do with the lever position as well. I know, again, it shouldn't be so hard to put water in the cup... What I have found is that depending on how you have the cup positioned, and how wide the cup is, the water may or may not make it into the cup. The spout is positioned in front of the ice shoot, so the water will dispense more towards the front of your cup. Since the cup top needs to be tipped back to engage the lever, you don't always get it lined up for the water properly. Again, if the lever were a little lower to engage, this could probably be avoided.My final complaint about the way the doors close, I think stems from the latch panel that secures the left door and allows you to open each door independently, without having to open and close them in any order. This is a great feature because you don't have to treat your refrigerator like a Rubik's cube to get it opened and closed, but in order to secure the door, there is a latch panel that slides into place behind the right door. This panel does not always position correctly, making it very easy to leave the door ajar and the sensor doesn't trigger an alarm, because it thinks it's closed. I think that if the sensor were a little more sensitive or the door slid closed a little easier this could be easily fixed. It doesn't require a great amount of force, but you can't just let it close on it's own either.

Great for a family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this now for over a year and I'm still in love with it. The temperature control drawer is amazing. We primarily use it for meat and it keeps it fresh and good for up to a week without having to freeze fresh ground beef, chicken, pork, etc. That's a huge deal when you're working 50 hours a week and still have to be home in time to cook for your family of 7. It's a game-changer!!

I love my new rerigerator. It is so convenient to use. The ice maker is real handy. Also the pizza storage area is VERY useful. There is lots of room to store things in the door. It is very roomy. I like the vegetable & meat storage drawers.

We bought a year ago and we are very disappointed with it. The compressor is noisy and too weak to run the fridge. The ice -maker not working as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have enjoyed our new refrigerator. It is easy to use and holds more than expected. Although we are still adjusting to the noises it makes, we would purchase another like it.
