Nice size

I love the flexibility of this fridge, move this shelf, make that a half shelf, change the door shelf heights. The ice in the door is also a super space saving feature. The only thing I wish was the non-ice door to the fridge could be opened while you were filling your water glass. Overall I'd highly recommend it so far.

Worst purchase ever!

I'm on my second version of this refrigerator, as my first, after having 9 repairs in less than 18 months was deemed unrepairable. Whirlpool took the 1st frig back, and sent a supposed better version to my home in January. I've already had two breakdowns, the second now requiring a 6 hour repair. I called Whirlpool to see if I could get a different model of frig, as it seems very obvious that this style is not reliable. They refused, saying, apparently, this frig has to break down as many times as the first so that they can deem it unrepairable. I am sick of this poor quality frig, and will not purchase a Whirlpool product in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the fridge storage space

I have mixed feelings on this purchase. Things I love--I love the 4 drawers inside and the adjustable shelves. I love the ice in the door. I love the lighting and the white with the stainless handles. I love the french door design, in general. However I replaced a 10 year old Whirlpool side by side with this because the side by side no longer had a working water dispenser or ice maker and was, in general, starting to show its age although it was still working just fine as a refrigerator and freezer (we moved it to the garage). The french door has 25-30% less freezer space. I didn't think that mattered until I started transferring things. Good thing I had a 2nd freezer because I didn't have enough room. And I bought it scratch and dent so perhaps that is part of it but the water dispenser didn't work from day one which is one of the main reasons I replaced the older fridge. when I tried to use it, water poured from the inside ceiling. a cracked water valve was the diagnosis and should be fixed this week but no one likes a brand new appliance to be defective on day one. Also it's a lot louder than the side by side. A lot. to the point I wonder if it's defective after having the water valve problem. I love the fridge for what I have used it for so far but can not rate the water or ice at this time. I just hope the water is fixed soon and it lasts 10 years like the fridge it replaced.

We have had the refrigerator for 12 months. Everything is great except the water/ice dispenser switch. The switch has become hard to operate.

Tons of space!

We purchased this refrigerator about a month ago and it has been great! I love the measure fill option on the water and the door alarm. The space is so valuable!!

Thank goodness we purchased the extended warranty. This Whirlpool refrigerator has been a "lemon" from the beginning. It was obviously put on the market before all the bugs were worked out of it. The ice maker quit working a few times. Then the freezer was malfunctioning. We had repairmen at our house so many times they are now coming to our family reunion! I'm afraid to say it's fixed.

My new refrigerator

I have being using this new refrigerator for 3 months. I find the configuration of the inside very useful and roomy. However, it has some design issues. The cold air vents in the freezer are at the very bottom. Since they should not be blocked and they are at the bottom, it's a difficult to not put frozen food on them. It would be more energy efficient if the long shelf under the crispers had it's own drawer, as opposed to having to open both refrigerator drawers to get to it. A plastic piece of trim broke off from one shelf after one month of using the refrigerator....not the quality I expected, considering the cost of the appliance. It is quite noisy while running.

I purchased this refrigerator a year ago, and I thought I would be writing a great review, sadly I am not. My wife and I decided to purchase the white ice collection because it looked stylish and is made in the U.S.A. After several months my wife noticed water would be collecting in the bottom bin on the refrigerator door, it would happen quite frequently. I noticed water coming from the ice maker, and ice forming in the back of the refrigerator, around the ice maker. We called for service and the repairman showed up. He told us this is a known issue for this refrigerator and that he would have to order a part. A couple of days later he installed the new part. He said that "this should work" if it doesn't he doesn't know what he would be able to do. Well less than 6 months later it started doing the same thing. See attached pictures. We are very dissappointed that we spent a decent amount of money on an inferior product.
