Worst Refrigerator EVER!

I have had this appliance for a little over 2 years. So far I have had to have the internal compressor replaced, the ice bucket rusted and now the water bladder for the ice and door water dispenser is leaking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Did a major kitchen remodel and chose this fridge to match the dishwasher we bought several years ago and loved. Right off the bat, the ice maker wouldn't work and had to call for repair the day after installation. Bottom freezer is a pain to organize and doesn't seem to hold as much as my old side-by-side. Periodic loud vibrating sounds. Major disappointment for the price!

Awful! On our second unit!

We bought ours over a year ago and had multiple issues with it, KitchenAid offered to replace it and we took them up on it! Now the new one has a problem with the left side door closing, also the water dispenser is extremely loud on the new one, but the first one was not noisy at all, so clearly there is something wrong with it. We also have had problems with our KitchenAid microwave stove vent combo! The only kitchenAid product that is a great product is their stand up mixer, we own the best version they offer and we love it.....Sadly after buying their fridge and microwave vent combo, we have decided we will NEVER buy another product from KitchenAid, other than their mixers!!!!

purchased this fridge 18 months ago. Ice maker drips onto food on top shelf of fridge, compressor motor is shot new one on order. Finish scratches easily and shows every little smudge. For this much money and the name Kitchenaid you would think the quality would be much higher. Extremely dissapionted with this product. Do not buy

Don't bother

This is the worst fridge I have ever used. I am so completely disgusted by this product. 2 years after having it completly stopped working. I had to argue with Kitchenaid to fix it. They sent a repairman out. He told me that he "basically replaced everything but the shell and they would have been better off giving us a new fidge." "They (Kichenaid) knew they built a bad product."
Two years later the ice machine has started leaking any now the freezer door won't shut because of the constant ice build up.....
Thanks Kitchenaid. I had my last fridge for 10+ years this one has been 4... Guess what brand I will never ever ever recommend.
