Great features but ice maker NEEDS new design!

Ice maker leaks every time it is on! Leaks into bins below - design NEEDS to change! Found a 6" puddle on the tile this am from leaking ice maker. Great in every other way, door bins are roomy, drawers pull easily & are roomy. Would buy frig with icemaker in freezer drawer next time!

Cons: ice maker needs new design!

Ice maker design is poor and needs to be modified

I have had service calls on this unit twice. The icemaker is on top of the refrigerator and builds up ice on the back wall of the refrigerator because it leaks. I am currently waiting for parts and further modifications to be designed to remedy this problem. So far the wait has been 2 months. The service tech indicates this is a common problem with this unit and current modifications have not remedied the problem.
Pros: Convenient Features, easy to use
Cons: poor icemaker design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After enduring 8 years with a side by side refrigerator, it was a welcome relief to fit a large pizza box in the refrigerator and/ or freezer section !!!!!
I can now see what I have, no more shopping for stuff to find out later that ,"oh I had that in the back".......
