I bought this a month ago and the size and features are great. My complaint would be the noise. The other reviews I read on this refrigerator did state noise was a
problem. I liked the size and features so I picked it anyway. I would not recommend to others if noise is a concern.

The issues that prevent me from giving it a excellent score are:
the compressor is noisy and the wheels are to small to carry the weight of the frig and has damaged my floor.

This is the most convenient and spacious fridge we have ever owned. My wife loves the storage capabilities and roll out features.
A lesson we learned was that upon installation we placed all of the food and drink items we use constantly in the left side door, which contains the in-door icemaker unit. We were not pleased with the size or quantity of ice produced.
Duh!!! We quickly figured out that the family was opening that left door 90% of the time and of course; left it open for periods of time. This degraded the quality of the ice. We simply moved all those high use foods, butter, bread, soft drinks, milk, wine, etc to the right side and our problem completely went away. The ice is now always of quality,size and plentiful.
Pros: Design, Convenient Features, easy to use, Performance, Innovative

We purchased the original refrigerator August 2013, the water filter compartment malfunctioned and caused it to leak on our wood floor and now the floor has buckled - that was not the only problem with it. Refrigerator was replaced in July 2014 and have already had repair man out to look at freezer - ice forming around inside door. Very disappointed in the quality of this refrigerator and quite honestly will never purchase another kitchen aid appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
