This thing has been nothing but a hassle from bin fronts breaking off to the ice machine never working correctly.

Visually great looking, but poor performance.

If you like ice or you are looking for a quality product, do not purchase this model. Our refrigerator was installed on July 11th. We have had it serviced 3 times - once a week since installation. Each of the 3 technicians has given us a different reason for the problem. The main issue is the ice maker. Ours makes about 10 to 12 cubes a day, if any. We have 4 replacement parts to be installed to see if this is a fix for the problem. Two of the three technicians told us there was an issue with the ice makers in this particular model. There is also an issue with the dispenser ? ice ends up on the floor as well as in the glass.
Cons: ice maker performance

Not a good experience

We bought this refrigerator and if failed in the first six months - required a new compressor and condenser, etc. Then three months later it failed again requiring new heater for defrost cycle as well as new circuit boards. Failed again immediately after that - leaked out the freon. We returned it to the retailer and got another brand.

Not happy with Kitchenaid Refrigerator

Very noisy. We had the first one replaced due to the noise. The second one is less noisy. But, still too loud to be acceptable - you can hear it upstairs. Thought Kitchenaid was a good product. But this one sure isn't. Wish we'd bought another brand.

Poor freezer

The appliance is not even two years old and the freezer is producing excessive frost. I have followed all recommended procedures and the level of frosting has not changed much. It is disappointing to have a problem shortly after the warranty expired.
