Great Refrigerator, but...

This fridge is a replacement for an identical one that went kaput in only 18 months. So, while we love the refrigerator, the jury is still out about whether this new one will enjoy the same fate. We certainly hope not because we love the refrigerator. Just hope it keeps working as advertised.

Very nice and roomy, but very noisy

I chose this refrigerator because we recently purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher which we like very much, and I wanted the refrigerator to match as they are very close to each other in our kitchen. It is a really pretty fridge, inside and out, and has lots of room. But it is the noisiest refrigerator we have ever owned -- WAY noisier than the dishwasher even when it is running on its most agressive wash cycle.
I have one small design complaint regarding the freezer. The movable container in the bottom (largest) part of the freezer (presumably designed to hold extra ice?) cannot be removed, which limits the size of items that you can place in the freezer.
Other than that, my only design compaint is the lack of noise insulation. I would happily sacrifice a little room in the refrigerator if it meant that it would run more quietly. So my "yes" recommendation is qualified for those who don't mind the noise. Happily our house is large enough that we can escape the "airplane-takeoff" whining/whirring most of the time.
Pros: measured water dispenser, Convenient Features, easy to use
Cons: Noisy

I have enjoyed my new Kitchenaid refrigerator; however the water dispenser has been dripping. A service call was put in and it was "repaired." Several weeks later, I again noticed water in the tray. Upon monitoring I discovered it was again dripping. Another service call placed and it's "repaired". I hope this is the final call.
