While I am happy with my purchase, I am surprised by the strange noises the refrigerator makes. While it isn't terribly noisy, It is definitely not silent. I was surprised by the amount of noise made when rolling out the drawers in the freezer section. The ice maker also makes some odd noises/whines. There is lots of room, and I really like that. I do miss having dedicated spaces for eggs and my butter dish. I REALLY like having a digital display of the temperature in the refrigerator section. Now I don't have to guess if my food is being kept at safe temperatures.
Pros: shelves are easy to clean, Innovative, Convenient Features, easy to use
Cons: Too noisy

Really nice looking refrigerator. Too bad the ice maker does not work as well as it should. Any appliance this expensive should have a five year warranty. We bought an extended warranty and found out it is through a third party, just be aware! I f the ice maker isn't important I would recommend it to a friend.

The fridge has had a problem with the freezer frosting up and water leaking in fridge part. Repair company has "fixed" it 6 times in the first 3 months of owning he product. That's a lot of staying home from work from repairs.
Fridge has plenty of space as well as the freezer. Would prefer it if the shelves could be adjusted a little more.
Really like the ice and water dispensing system.

I like the french doors, but there is limited room for tall things. Yes, you can adjust the shelves. But, it makes it awkward for those times you have one or two 2 liter bottles. There is only on large spot for a gallon of milk and a 2liter bottle in the door.
I love the freezer, it stays organized well with the drawers.

This fridge was installed about two and a half years ago new. It started making loud noises in the beginning of February, and slowly stopped working. We called the store where we purchased it. They took the fridge, said there was a leak. Almost two months later, fridge was returned (they said they were waiting for a part and that this part was problematic on this fridge (evaporator?)).The fridge did not last two weeks when the loud sound returned. This time they came and replaced the relay boards and invoiced us $600. Less than a week later the fridge is making even louder sounds. They came to look at it and told us the relay boards were not the issue. The fridge stopped working this past weekend and they want to take it back to the shop. We bought KitchenAid appliances for our entire kitchen and have had no other issues with any of them. Is this problem due to faulty parts on this fridge? Is it common? Or is the issue with where we purchased the fridge?
