Great features, could be great product, poor quality

Since the delivery of the unit on June 5, a loose french door handle and a leaking ice maker water line has been repaired (September 14) . Now, the leaking ice maker line has returned (October 30). It appears there is a chronic problem with the unit which requires replacement; however, when I ask for the replacement, I am directed to the same warranty repair as previous. This refrigerator was part of a full kitchen purchase, and the quality and response to our issues has made me think twice about purchasing KitchenAid appliances in the future.
Pros: easy to use, Design, Innovative, Convenient Features
Cons: Quality, Workmanship
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The up to date look of this refrigerator is what caught my eye, but the ice maker is awesome. It is in the door and doesn't take up precious refrigerator space. It is so easy to turn off and on and get the ice bucket out. This is the best ice maker I have ever had. I also really like the measured water dispenser, great for filling my coffee machine. Thanks Kitchen Aid

This refrig hold so much! Love the adjustable shelves and the freezer is the easiest to access of any I have had. The freezer capacity is amazing! Also so quiet.

We barely had this fridge for 4 months and it already needed repairs. There was ice building up inside at the back. It took about a month to get the part which was just recently installed. Now we are waiting to see if the problem has been rectified.
Also, there is an area in the front of the freezer that you can put items such as frozen pizzas standing up, however, you have to be very careful and make sure the items are not sticking up too much as the freezer door will remain open slightly, but you think it's closed and the "door open alarm" does not go off.
Pros: Convenient Features, ice maker compact, easy to use
Cons: freezer door

We are so pleased with every feature that this frig has. It really completes our kitchen renovation. Love the measured fill button on the water dispenser and the veggie drawer that really keeps things crisp. This design definitely has space for everything.
