Refrigerator is 30 days old. I had to call repair tech already because the noise is bugging me. He will be installing a new fan motor but he says the compressor is also noisy so I'll see if I can take it. I love everything about it except the noise level. It hums, whines, whirrs and clicks. The pitch is high so that when it finally goes off you go...Whew, am I glad it's off....then it starts up again.
Pros: Innovative, Convenient Features, Design, easy to use
Cons: Too noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had it for a few months now and love it! Our only concern was when we first hooked it up, we thought the ice maker was not working. It took about a week until is started making enough to keep up with our demands. It started off with about one dump a day... All that to say it is working great now and we love all the features!

We bought this refrigerator four months ago and love it. The top compartment makes access to our refrigerated foods much easier and the bottom freezer has plenty of room and can be accessed easily. The ice-make provides more than enough ice for our needs. Controls are easy to read and use.

My husband and I purchased this refrigerator after our other one had stopped cooling (a late '80s Frigidaire). I had never had a refrigerator that dispensed water or ice- much less actually filtered them! I cannot describe the taste, but for someone who was just fine with tap water (we each drink around 100 ounces daily) I have now switched to ONLY filling my cup from the refrigerator!
The storage space is fantastic! We love the in - door shelves on each side, the shelving, and size of the bins. It's perfect for all the fresh produce, and definitely keeps our food fresher for longer. My husband especially likes that we will be alerted when a new air or water filter is needed.

Worst refrigerator I have ever owned!

In early 2013 I remodeled my kitchen and installed all new Kitchen Aid products that included an Architectural Series Gas convection range that I really like.
However, the refrigerator is another story. The refrigeration system failed at the 16 month mark. Both evaporation coils, condenser motor, and most of the electronics were replaced. Now, 8 months later, the system is low on freon and stopped cooling. The repairman charged the system but the compressor chatters and I do not think this refrigerator will ever work properly. It seems that I have bought a first run lemon. So dissappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've had the refrigerator for a couple of months now and everyone in the family loves it. In our old side by side it was very difficult to storage and find items but this is not longer an issue with our new KitchenAid. It is well light and the double door wide concept is awesome. I also love the two additional pull out draws in the freezer.
