The actual selling point for this appliance was that the doors open flush with the actual refrigerator which made it fit perfectly into the space provided. The lighting is beautiful and the space inside is terrific in both the refrigerator and freezer. We love this refrigerator and every feature it offers

Love this fridge. Only thing I don't like is that you have to open both front doors to use the tray. I guess I'm used to having two smaller drawers in previous refrigerators. I will say it's nice having the larger tray, so opening both doors isn't too bad. Freezer is very spacious. Love having the two drawers and the pizza box tray in the door.

We have had this fridge since February and we love it! We particularly love the extra storage having opted for this larger fridge. Also, entire water/ice dispenser mechanism is fantastic and the extra drawer with an independent thermostat is really handy. The overall layout of the fridge also just "makes sense." We love it. Lastly, the lighting in the fridge is great. Definitely would recommend this fridge to others!

Very Noisy Refrigerator

This refrigerator has frequent cycles that are very noisy. I love the size and layout of the interior spaces and the freezer storage is excellent. However, I can't get past the noises it makes and would replace it with a new refrigerator if I could. We have had a repair person out twice and there is nothing wrong. It's just noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Over Priced with average peformance

Our unit is less that two years old and we have noticed that ice in the storage bin in the door melts. We have experience water leaking out of the ice maker and storage bin as a result. Items in the refrigerator very greately in temperature from shelf to shelf. Items in the freezer also feel soft on ocassion. About a six weeks ago we started to develop heavy frost in the freezer area, especially the top and second drawer. The tech stated that the gasket on the rear of the ice maker unit needs to be repalced and there are (2) update kits that are required that hopefully will fix these problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The selling feature that convinced my wife to purchase this refrigerator was the pizza storage area in the freezer. She also loves the French door/open shelving. This unit replaced a side-by-side, which is now serving beer and soda in the garage... We are very pleased we chose KitchenAid.
