Great Design But Water Filter and Flow Have Issues

This is a wonderful design refrigerator that is quiet and very functional. It has one flaw that seems to be quite prevalent among owners of this and other whirlpool models that use this particular water filter. The water does not flow through the filter well and it has a tickle come out of the dispenser and the ice cubes are tiny. It is so prevalent it was in this Sunday's paper in the Home and Garden "Ask the Expert" section. Whirlpool needs to find another filter manufacturer or provide a filter by-pass plug. Also, the water filters are ridiculously expensive.

We love the look of the refrigerator as well as the space it has inside. The freezer is great - you have the sections at the bottom as well as the 2 drawers at the top. There is even an area for a pizza to stand up. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Bought December, 2013, one week before hosting a big, annual, family Christmas Eve dinner for nearly 50 hungry mouths. It was perfect for food preparations, as well as, keeping all the sweet desserts, and also room for leftovers....very spacious, yet fits into the same space as our 21 y/o KitchenAid 25 cu ft fridge.
Read all the negative reviews during our research, and did not and still have not experienced any problem(s), no condensation, or drippings from ice maker, no "helicopter noise" from the condenser motor.
Overall, very happy with our choice.
