I LOOKED AT ALL THE REVIEWS AND THIS ONE DIDN'T EVEN SHOW UP. I HAD AN OLD GE ICE MAKER THAT WAS 15 YEARS OLD SO I LOOKED ON GE AND IT HAD GOOD REVIEWS. VERY GLAD I DID. VERY QUIET, MAKES TONS OF ICE AND WORKS PERFECTLY. YOU DO NEED TO BUY A DOOR AND I DID THAT WHEN I PURCHASED IT. THE DOOR IS REALLY EASY TO ATTACH. JUST 4 SCREWS.

Great ice machine

Our old ice maker went out and had to replace it. I wanted to go with a cheaper one(since I squeak when I walk), but my wife wanted this one. I am glad we decided on this model. The ice is great and the installation was not hard. Very sturdy and nice model. Refills ice bin quickly when we have heavy use.

Our nugget ice machine is very loud and now the drain pump willl not shut off. I clean it as I should and even use a very high end water filtering system. I do not recommend. I have only had this for about 2 years and currently unplugged out of warranty and several thousands wasted on poor quality machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nugget Ice!

My wife was looking for this kind of ice maker forever (Chik Fil A Ice!). I found it. It works great. It isn't as loud as some folks say. Installation was easy for our installers. You have to buy cleaner and clean it every six months and cleaning is about an hour to two hour chore. The door comes separately and we ordered a panel specially built for ours.
