Repaired three times, replaced once.

This machine has been nothing but a nightmare. It was purchased and installed by our builder when our house was completed in July of 2020. Since then, it has been repaired three times and replaced once. I really want to like the machine but it is a constant chore.
First, the drain pump, then a board, then a complete replacement, and then another board.
Between mechanical and electrical issues, it also randomly runs the pump continuously for hours, sometimes overnight. Every time it does that I have to kill the breaker to it so it can do a complete reset. Turning it off at the control panel does not fix the issue. All this has happened in less than three years!
It is only a matter of time before I have to call in for service again. It averages about every six months and the last time it was repaired was October of 2022 so we're just past the eight month mark.
If the new updated model has addressed all the issues, I'd like to have that replace my current lemon.

No exterior stainless steel door

The icemaker itself makes great ice! But the icemaker it self came without an exterior stainless steel door and handle. We were told that we would have to pay extra for the door and handle. Therefore, for now it sits in our Brand new kitchen like this! not a satisfied customer! I would totally have recommended IF I had a door! We have purchase numerous Ge products without a problem until this ice maker.

Our nugget ice machine is very loud and now the drain pump willl not shut off. I clean it as I should and even use a very high end water filtering system. I do not recommend. I have only had this for about 2 years and currently unplugged out of warranty and several thousands wasted on poor quality machine.
