Replacement of old ice maker

We replaced an 8 year old Scotsman. This machine seems to run more quietly and the inside light is bright. Also seems to replenish ice faster

The ice maker puts out some ICE!! It is always on the go and working hard to replenish it back to capacity. Great product!

I have had this going for a couple of weeks and I absolutely love the ice it makes! I can use as much as I want , because it makes it faster than I can use it.

The ice is great...but!

The ice is perfect and deserves a 5 star rating. The water pump however is CRAZY loud annoying. I have this unit in my kitchen where we spend a good amount of time being a family and are constantly being reminded of the units presences. I finally dismantled the unit and insulated the cabinet interior- top,bottom, sides and even the motor with the material. It helped about 70% in reduction. I called the factory and even they say its the biggest complaint. This will not be a problem is you have a gravity drain in your floor, but if you have to use the optional pump kit...be forewarned!
