Not much of a dishwasher

I bought his dishwasher to replace a 24 year one. It needed to fit into a very tight space and when opened it clears my fridge by 1/2 in. This was the only one that could be found for me and I knew when I bought it It was not the best. It washes dishes but that is about all it does. It is made from plastic, not metal like my old one. The racks are such that only flat dishes will really fit on the bottom and the top is only for bowls or glasses/cups, so I end up doing a lot of dishes by hand till I can fill the racks. The racks were poorly thought out. And it does not dry everything all the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets the Job Done

The new machine is on the same level as the old, but not quite as good. Even using heat dry, there is always moisture in the bottom of silverware and some dishes. I do not over-fill the machine. If I use "Normal" there is no pre-wash, have to use China/Crystal setting to get a pre-wash. Hard to tell how much "jetDry" is left.

Doesn't latch properly

I have had this dishwasher for maybe 3 months and already it doesn't even latch properly to close properly and it really doesn't clean the dishes

This is a home warranty replacement. The bottom rack is somewhat unstable. Does not stay on track well; especially when fully loaded.

This is a piece of junk, do not buy this thing.

My home warranty replaced our Kitchen Aid that came with the house with this piece of junk. The wheels on the lower rack fall off the track of the tub which causes the rack to fall lopsided into the tub. The upper rack is so close to the top of the tub that your glasses won't fit unless they're short glasses. On heated dry, it doesn't completely dry. And the racks themselves are very flimsy and don't hold up to any weight at all which causes the cheap wheels they rest on to buckle under the weight and bend. Very cheap material, and the engineers failed at measuring dimensions of the tub versus the racks. Do not buy this, you will regret it.
