Our First GE Dishwasher

Came with the house we bought. Seems brand new. We love the GE rep. Decent size. Pretty standard setup on the inside. We’re gonna have it serviced though because it seems to not clean as well as we think it should.

This is a good unit for a small family. Does a good job but wonder how it would preform if used more than once a day. But we like it for the money.

This is not a premium model, but it does incorporate most features. It is not particularly quiet, but it is not noisy either. Energy usage is rated slightly above average, but cost is slightly below. I use GE such that it matches all my other appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor design and cheap parts

The design of the dishwasher racks makes it difficult to use all the space. In addition, the coating on the racks started to split and the metal under the coating is now rusting out with low-normal use. There is also a chalky residue left on the bottoms of my glasses on the top rack (turned upside down of course), frequently and I am using good quality, well known drying aid and pods.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dont buy

We've been using this dishwasher for 3 years in our apartment and it sucks. It doesn't clean well, food is stuck on it after wards, hard to clean, is loud and noisy, and takes an hour and a half. Also our water bills are high because of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
