This replaces the exact same unit from 11 years ago. The original finally stopped raising but would still turn on. I hope this one will last as long.

It is not robust as my previous downdraft. Installed but is still shaky and with no support I am worried that it may not last that long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Match Perfectly

I was redoing my kitchen and searched for a replacement downdraft, the old one was looking kind of bad with the new cooktop. Most of the downdrafts came with stainless steel tops ,I needed and wanted black to match the cooktop. Perfect!! sits on the edge of the cooktop and make it look like all one piece. Easy install even with my existing kitchen!!

I bought this in 2018 and it has been broken way more than it has ever worked. had repair people here numerous times and still doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
