not sure why but the picture has an extreme amount of white and often see pixilation occurring. Not entirely excited about this purchase. Also when using any apps ie: Netflix, I cannot get my Bose Home Theater system to play audio, I have to turn on TV speakers. That just doesn't seem right.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good picture have not used all the features. The wireless connection works great. I get 1080i with my cable, but get 1080p on the Internet not sure why.

Amazing picture and USB playback, TERRIBLE sound.

I love the picture, the netflix feature is smooth and reliable(Most times). The other default apps seem very useless. There is over 75+ apps I maybe 3-5 of those apps I would consider using. The sound output is terrible, I just used some old Bose Companion speakers to remedy that issue. USB playback worked very well for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We were so excited to finally have a flat screen 60 inch tv! First, it took forever for us to hook up to the internet and once we did, we were SADLY disappointed. The picture on Netflix is so choppy and pixelated! It is sad, but the picture and ease of this tv does not even compare to our old box tv which we connected to wi-fi through our xbox to watch netflix. This is a horrible tv and a huge dissapointment, don't buy it. We love Sony laptops and cameras, but to even sell this tv is sad for sony.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Limited Apps - Not so smart SmartTV

The main reason I selected a Smart TV is to use it in place of a hand held tablet or smartphone. This TV is disappointing because it does not have the most popular app of all time - facebook. So, if you're thinking about getting a smart TV be sure to check into the apps that are available with the brand and model. This one does not have facebook. In fact, I think most Sony brand TVs are sold without the facebook app. Otherwise, the TV is really great.
