GOOD PICTURE

Very good HD picture The picture is amazing even with a small AVI file ( 300mb for 1 h) on USB input compare to my Patriot Box , my PC or my tablet with HDMI connection.That why I keep this TV.
The problem with this TV is the viewing angle that is very poor starting from only 20°, mostly the tint (face color) also the color and black level are affected. I don't know if it's a problem with my TV. You must seat directly in front of the TV to see a good picture quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Drylan1, Thank you for your feedback. The viewing Angle from Right or Left is 178 (89 / 89 ) degrees for this unit , since it is the maximum angle at which it can be viewed with acceptable visual performance. If the problem persist even if you are sitting at the front of the display, we would like to recommend to try the steps available in the following link:

I like this TV so far. The SONY TV I replaced it with had developed brown burn in splotches that were visible on white or light colored backgrounds. Luckily I had a 3 year extended warranty and got a refund of approx. 90% of the price. This TV seems to be everything I wanted. There is a minor inconvenience in that the IR sensor for the remote is located in the very front of the TV and since the TV sits low on the stand, my center speaker blocks the sensor. I will have to raise the TV a bit to compensate for this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our First Flat Screen Smart TV

Picture is wonderful when on HD, a little blurry when not an HD feed.
Installation of stand instructions could be clearer in the illustrations.
Instructions of capabilities needs to be easier to navigate and contain more details.

Met and Exceeded my Expectations

After employing my usual research technique in make/model selection, I am exceedingly happy with this particular model. The Sony apps section is a real plus that other makes/models do not match. Working with the creation of my own videos, I find that the very wide selection of video formats that it plays is a real gem. So far with no problems manifesting, I look forward to many years of faithful service. Considering that I have wall mounted the unit, I can not comment on the stand that came with it.

Wonderful TV - sound questionable

I love this TV - can see the 'whites of eyes' when watching sports. However, sound needs to be at 30% to hear programs. Don't know if this is typical or not as my other Sony 50" HD TV needs sound around 10% on most stations.

Picture Great Sound Terrible

The picture is amazing and the TV was very easy to hook up and use. Netflix button is a great addition and get you to the app really quickly. Haven't used the playstation option yet but there are a ton of apps to choose from and the network speed on the TV is super fast. Only downfall is that the speakers come out the bottom of the TV. The sound quality is terrible. I tried adjusting it all kind of different ways and had to resort to getting a sound bar. Too bad as I would have highly recommended this TV but cannot fully endorse it as I had to spend even more money so I could understand what people were saying on the broadcasts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
