Amazing TV

This is one of the best TV for the money. There is no other 50-65" TV in this price range that can match it's style, features, and picture quality. The colors are vibrant and blacks are deep/consistent. Unlike some other manufacturers that have "panel lotteries", you know exactly what you are getting with this TV. There is no need to spend hours tweaking the picture settings as its calibrated very well right out of the box. I usually use the gaming mode for my PS4 and general/auto for everything else. The only manual change I've made is lowering the default brightness. Buy this TV. You will not regret it.

Great TV until the glitches started

I bought the Sony KDL-60W630B Serial #5000554 in August of 2014, everything has been great until the last 3 weeks. I been getting glitches in the screen, I really want this tv to work out, I have had 2 prior Vizio TVs before with no problems, I switch to Sony to match my PS3 and PS4. I hope this is just a software issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worth every penny

I took my time picking this one out-was comparison shopping and found this to be the best picture and sound in its class.When I hooked it up at home,I thought the store made a mistake and gave me an Ultra HD model.Very satisfied!

Another perfect Sony

Since I am a 92 year old guy living in a continuing retirement community my days mostly revolve around my PC and my TV. My WIFI connection provides installed Netflix streaming movies for about 8 bucks a month. I haven't done so, but I intend to purchase the controller for the Sony Play Station which is also included. Like all of my previous Sony's this set was perfect out of the box. I don't know what the optimum distance is to set from this 60 inch tv, but my recliner is 12 feet away and the picture is absolutely wonderful with no requirement to mess with the factory settings. Selling my 6 year old Sony 55 inch tv was a snap. The first caller grabbed it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Enjoying our 60 Sony Bravia and peripherals

In the 3 wks since purchase, we've already had friends over to watch the World Series games and for vacation "slide shows" on the big screen via Apple TV and our iPads. Great picture and sound.
Also love using the Sony headphones. Can watch while others are asleep or while others are making noise in nearby rooms without turning the volume to the extreme ends (very low or very loud). Quality products!
