I needed ink for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 this item came up with what I needed so I ordered it since it yielded more pages than the other cartridge listed. But this item was in fact not compatible with my printer. Why would it be listed with the products for my printer. Now, I'm out of the cartridge I needed and have to take time out of my day to reorder or go to the store and buy one.

I am so sorry that there was this confusion! The extra large 956XL black cartridge will work for the OfficeJet Pro 8720, 8730 and 8740 printers, but it does not work with the OfficeJet Pro 8710.
You can exchange this for the correct cartridge (HP 952 or HP 952XL). Our return and exchange process is covered, step-by-step, at:
