Need 11x17, buy this

Engineering firm with high production, this printer delivers!! 5 months in and could not be more satisfied. Extensive 11x17 printing with no snags to date. Love this printer.

WiFi issues

WiFi keeps cutting out. This time it seems to have stoped working for good. Despite trying everything I can find in Epson's help, troubleshooting, my other computer, router + hardware help + troubleshooting, despite trying to reinstall the drivers, despite checking the internet for answers, it just won't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BEWARE!!!!!!

This printer is great. Just one thing though. If you use Microsoft Office 2013, the ABBYY add-ins can actually crash your computer!!! They conflict with Office programs, and cause instability. These add-ins are optional, so make sure that you don't install them and you will be fine. Like I said before, this printer really is a good, quality printer. Just beware of the add-ins, and I'm sure that this goes for other Epson products as well.

Really like how it prints. Its fast and the color quality is very good. I am a graphic designer and have a publication that requires a lot of color ads and inserts for proofing. I did run out of 2 inks.
It was easy to set up and the scanner works great. Love it has 2 paper trays 1 up to 11 x17.
The only negative is sometimes when the paper trays get low it grabs a bunch of paper at the same time. But thats it. Basically I love it. FYI Run on a iMac. Hope this helps.

The Good & The Bad

Attempted to install on windows 8.1. After two hours was ready to throw out the window. Called tech support and got it on the network, but still would not scan from PC. Or print as it showed offline
Install on a Windows 7 PC and it took about 10 minutes with no problem what so ever.
Would recommend for a windows 7 PC but never for Windows 8.1 PC

Dual Sided Scanning

The WF-7520 All-in-One Printer is a great printer for the value. I am stil trying to figure out how to do the dual sided scanning. Couldn't find the instructions in the manual and when I tried it from the scanning software, could not find a setting. It would be nice if there were one dashboard for every printer function, faxing, scanning and printing vs separate pieces. Othe than that with its ability to do 13 x 19 prints is fantastic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great in Theory

No auto-detect on scan, No auto rotation. Great product in theory. Specs look good on paper. Might want to consider getting a doctorate in scanning resolution, source, sizing, previewing, etc before attempting to use this product. Software provided is horribly written and only moderately useful. A lot of time wasted. Great for a hobbyist.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Installation

Have not used it much yet - just finished installation which took a lot longer than I thought - first new one in 4+ years, lots more info needed now :<) Ah, technology - (LoL )!
Basics were quite easy with unpacking & machine set up & ink, etc - it was all the online stuff that took forever for wireless & modem (several tries - but had lots of install problems with wi-fi I-net set up from that company! (Joys !) Hopefully it works great - I am looking forward to several years of great, efficient service!
Used several other brands/styles – the 7520 is the best, largest, most multi-purpose machine I have bought so far for my personal & business uses.
