epson print quality

overall i like the printer. vertical banding when I print photos is the main issue and problem. this is very frustrating since i cannot use the printed photos. also many, many false paper jam messages. machine is heavy and hard to move to get in back and fix the "fake" paper jams.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Full Features DO NOT WORK with Windows 8.1 Driver

The Windows 8.1 driver for this printer does not fully support it's features. Most significantly you can not choose paper trays or print 11x17 but there are many other features present in the Windows 7 driver that are missing. Scanning works ok though. This is very disappointing and severely limits the products use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

haven't done much with it yet, but set up out the box was quick and easy, all the way around. wifi, mac controls, it prints exellent. I love the wide format idea, but haven't used it yet. I do recommend it. five star out of five star. for me ,but judge for yourself. Enjoy I am an Ironworker with ideas.

Nice Printer - Lots of Great Functions

I got this printer to replace my last one that was starting to die. I also wanted to upgrade to a printer with the ability to print wirelessly, on 11x17 paper, and with separate ink cartridges. This printer has all those features and more.
I like the edgeless printing and large scanner - two features I did not need, but enjoy nonetheless.
Installing the printer was easy and it just works! Good to see.
So far so good - I'd definitely recommend this printer at this point. (I've had it about 3 months so far.)
I would recommend this to a friend!

CLEANING ISSUES

Outside of it making noises when scanning unit runs good, MAJOR problem is User Manual, and Online Support does NOT give you results on how to CLEAN internal rollers to take away VERTICAL Lines when scanning documents through Top Auto Feeder.
Technical Support calls it 'Hardware' issues, and states to replace unit with Replacement unit after 3-weeks of purchase date.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have just set it up and printed the Status Sheet.
Epson has reduced all the extraneous searching with their new software.
I have purchased over 6 or 7 all-in-one printers plus 2 GTS-50 scanners and I am very happy with the products.
Epson is the only product I recommend.

Many problems with connecting to my computers

From day one my Imac would never receive a wireless signal so I had to use USB. The the printer stating having problems printing. I was working mostly out of my firms office so I used it only occasionally, I recently opened my own office and I can't get it to connect to any of my computer devices. The printer has been a problem for the day I purchaased it. Good luck with this printer but I'm tired of spending so many hours trying to get it to work!

Piece of Junk

Ever since I purchased this printer I have had problems with lines on the finished product when I scan documents. At first, I could go through a lengthly cleaning process, but now the cleaning process does not eliminate the line in the scans.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
