I reviewed 3 wide-format all-in-one printers. I needed a Reliable friendly-operating Unit to augment my Music Projects. I have found using Epson WorkForce WF-7520 allows me choice far beyond the unit it replaced.

Great Photo Prints

I own an Apparel Decorating business. Placing personal photo's on Apparel (i.e. t-shirts, sweatshirts, onesies) is increasingly becoming a bigger part of my business. The WF-7520 does an excellent job with it's Copy/Restore Photo's application. I've taken some OK photo's and were able to enhance them with the printer much to my customers delight. It also does an excellent job printing on heat transfer paper. The colors are vivid and transfer very well to Apparel.

Great Printer

It's really nice to have a wide format printer that prints two-sided and has the capability to scan up to 11x17. Print quality is excellent—I've had people think prints were done on laser printers instead of an inkjet printer! Setup was quick and easy. I had four printers setup and connected in under 1 hour. The Scanning software is easy to use. The Epson monitor is nice, especially when you have 3 printers all working at the same time.
My only "negative" is that it doesn't use the larger ink cartridges like the WF-4530 did — which was the printer this one replaced. The literature for the WF-7520 stated "extra large capacity" ink cartridges, but they're the same size as all the others printers....very small. So, I'm a little unclear as to the difference between the "large capacity" and "extra-large capacity" terminology. Rather disappointing after using the WF-4530. At this point, I'm not sure how the WF-7520 will do with large volume printing, so I can't gage the value of the "extra-large capacity" ink cartridges. But this will be on my radar as I use this printer.
Ink-cartridge size aside, I still like the WR-7520 and would recommend it to clients that need the larger print and scanning capabilities. If the larger format was not a requirement, I'd definitely recommend the WF-4530 instead.

Work Force WF-7520 after unpacking, installation and reading instructions has performed outstandingly. I use it for personal printing and found it somewhat beyond my need. Scanning, copying and printing produced many fine examples that I am proud to give to people.

We use this in our home office & are extremely happy with the Work Force 7520. I cannot believe how fast and easy it is to operate. For the price, you cannot beat it, and ink cartridges are reasonable too. I would buy this again if I needed another one.

Epson WorkForce WF-7520 All-in-One Printer

Purchase 3/21/14. I am very impressed with this printer. After some difficulty getting it to "shake hands" with my Windows 98 Pro, I called customer service and after some time on the phone - they got it working. I appreciate that Epson gives it's customers great customer service. This printer yields excellent print quality, good color and seems to be economical with ink use compared with HP. I have not used the FAX or wireless yet. My only wish is that I could individually feed and print on one or two sheets (labels for example) at a time vs having to load in a paper tray.

Whyskimp on the WF-7520?

I have had the WF-7520 for several months now and, overall, I find the printer to be satisfactory. However, I am dismayed that Epson did not see fit to put a touch screen on the printer similar to the Artisan 837 which I am still using. The printer is not as user friendly when printing envelopes and, thus, my reason for keeping the 837. I have used Epson printers for the past fifteen years and will continue to do so but with the hope that on future printers Epson will put on a touch screen.

Best Printer I have ever owned

This machine is the best in many ways. It uses a very small amount of ink. The printing is high quality, the set up was easy, the features are very good. I have owned many printers over 30 years, many I have not liked at all, I am technical and from the industry and sometimes hard to please. I honestly have no complaints about this printer and that is a rare thing. I would like to buy another one but I don't need it.
