Really good printer

This is the second Epson all in one I have had in 8 years; and the 4th Epson printer in 20 years. Epsons are really easy to use. With appropriate care they wear like iron.

Epson Workforce WF-7520 All-in-One Printer

My husband uses this on the second floor of our home, on a Wireless Network. The quality of the print is good, but have not used all sizes or features, so can't attest to the largest scans or copies. He does have a problem with it staying on default print from time-to-time. When that happens, I have to print on it from my main laptop downstairs at the opposite end of the house, then it will re-activate it for him. Thus 4 Stars instead of 5. It's a nuisance, but not sure if it's the printer or the distance from my main laptop and wireless signal. Yes, I would still recommend this printer. We have had two other Epson Printers for some time that have outlasted and outperformed another famous brand, and MUCH prefer Epson, from our experience.

Ok verdict still not in. I am having problems with paper feeding in both sizes 8x11 and 11x17. It can be frustrating and scanning setup not so good. when you want to do PDF's it might do it as portrait when you want landscape.

I purchased it on sale & thought I would love the larger format options to scan and print. FOOLED ME! And can you PLEASE turn off the NAG option? EVERY TIME I go to print, I am being nagged to check the paper cassette....check the paper size. And it DRINKS ink! Can you tell I hate this piece of junk.

Love This Printer!

I have had the printer running for a few days now and absolutely love it. It is fast and the black prints crisp text documents.
Duplex printing worked seamlessly.
It was a breeze to set up on all my computers. I have a wired desktop and the rest of the house is wireless and in both instances, everything went well straight out of the box!
Had to buy a printer cable though for the wired set-up.
It is a very large printer so make sure you have room for it!

Nice printer, as expected

I've only had this for a few days, but so far I'm very happy with this printer. I bought it to replace a b&w laser all-in-one that was several years old and not network friendly. We got a new computer here that runs Windows 7 and it couldn't talk to the old one (through a networking adapter). The WF-7520 seemed perfect for our application. I wanted a device that would scan/fax, etc, but also handle the larger format work that I currently use an aging 1160 printer for.
Setting up the 7520 was easy. The front panel interface was intuitive enough that I didn't need to read the instructions. The print quality is okay but not as nice as the old 1160. The scan speed is good and it's going to be nice to have a color copier.
I only have a few problems with the 7520. First, the paper tray for 11x17 paper holds the paper in portrait mode. That means the tray sticks out the better part of a foot. The space we keep the printer doesn't have that kind of room so for now, I can't print large format. That's not the printer's fault but I was hoping the paper was fully contained within the printer. Second, there doesn't seem to be support for Windows 98 or Linux. I expect Linux support will show up eventually and I can probably get a networked USB adapter to handle our Windows 98 machines.
Overall this is a huge upgrade from the old b&w laser machine and we're looking forward to many years (decade+) of service from this machine if it's still built like every other Epson we've ever owned.

Excellent printer-highly recommended

I can't say enough about how much I love this printer. It was super easy to set up on all my computers (PC, Mac's, and IPAD). The print quality is excellent, it faxes beautifully and the two front load system is fantastic. Plus the wide bay helps us to scan large documents. And the two cassette trays make our printing very convenient.
