A great wide-format printer

So far, I have used this printer to print a letter, an 8"X10" photo, and a 13"x19" genealogical tree. The results were excellent in all cases. In particular, the colors in the photo were almost as good as those obtained from my Epson RX500, which uses 6 cartridges instead of 4. The printer works easily from my computer, my iPad, and my smartphone through a wireless network. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Good all round printer but not for printing pictures.
I purchased this because my last printer bit the dust. My daughter uses it mostly for school work. It works great for that and I must say it is quicker than the old epson printer I had. It also will do double sided prints.
The down side to it is that I cannot get a good copy of any pictures that I print. I have calibrated my monitor but the pictures are nothing close. Colors are off and I cannot display any of my photos coming out of this printer. So if you are not worried about color matching it is a good printer.

Excellent but

We love the printer, make sure you install the Epson software or else you will be loosing some of the functionality and abilities built in.
Plus buy only the Epson ink, we bought some off-brand from 3 different sources and none last like the original and they would leak a little, what a headache.
Watch for a sale and BUY BUY BUY (no we don't sell it)
the duplex printing is easy and works every time even with the oversized 11 x 17.

It's OK

I needed a wide format scanner (and printer). This was affordable. I was hoping for better printing quality but I guess I can take those special prints to a printer shop. The most annoying thing is that the scanner doesn't have the 16-bit color capability, or at least I wasn't able to find it.

Setup of the WF 7520 All in One

For the price, the WF 7520 all in one is a good home printer. The installation can be a little difficult unless you make no mistakes, however, after install, things work pretty well. I haven't tried photo printing yet but I have done A & B size printing with success from more than one computer on the network. I don't believe the installation instructions go nearly far enough. They should not only bring your printer online, they should address each of the major feature as well. Setting up the fax header was automatic but nothing was said about the other features as to their readiness. If the scanner needs no further setup, say so. I bought the printer for its dual trays and 2 sided printing. I had to revert to the internet to find out how to setup the cassettes so the printer knew which cassette to use. This was not intuitive (unless you were the programmer of designer) and should have been part of the original install instructions.

So Far So Good

Just set up and started using the EPSON WF-7520 today, so admittedly early on in the review process. Still, the setup was very easy and the printer quickly connected wirelessly to my laptop across my office room. The instructions were easy to follow and read. And, setting up the initial date/time and other basic information was also a snap. Print quality is excellent on the first few pages that I have printed. I didn't find the machine noise excessive - no more than other printers that I have owned. The paper tray adjusts nicely. Overall, this printer seems much more sturdy and well built than other printers that I have used for in-home purposes. I have not yet tried the copy and/or scan feature, so I am unable to comment on that yet.

I have used the Epson WorkForce WF-7520 printer for 6 months. It is an outstanding printer except it makes a clicking noise when double sided is used. But it works. I use the standard mode to print. I do not find the volume of ink used to be excessive nor costly. The scanner is excellent and I can scan to my PC in PDF in 2 clicks. I have used many printers in the last 10 years due to the volume I print. They cost most and were not any better and most were not as good as this printer. I am very pleased with this printer. The cost of the machine was reasonable. The cost of ink is reasonable. The Epson WorkForce WF-7520 prints, scans, copies and faxes, and the software associated with this printer works and is efficient. I have used them all and they all work and they are easy to use. Epson did a good job with this printer. I have an Intranet which is how the printer is connected to the 4 PCs. The printer was very easy to connect and setup. Fast and efficient.
