Just recently upgraded. Do not have much experience yet. But so far WOW. Initially had difficulty with TouchPad remote. Problems were all mine. Movies on Netflix are very impressive. Cable TV improvement makes it also a good sell. I have not tried any social media at this time but that was not a big concern when I purchased. I had assistance when connecting to home theater but it was easy and quick. In no time at all I it was installed and I was watching. Down side: I am a hands-on manual kind of person. I found the one included with the TV lacking. Outside of that I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade.

Wish the blacks were blacker.

I think this is a great television but the blacks just aren't as black as I was hoping. I do love the passive 3D, much better than active. Wish there was more 4K content out there to watch, but that's not the TV's fault. Overall I am very happy.

I had the TV (XBR65X850B) installed along with the Sony 7.2 Ch Ultra HD 3D tuner and new BDPS7200 Blue Ray and what a combo. The TV is like looking out of your window. It is magical.

Window to the World

I got rid of a Samsung 50 Inch, one that was only two years old that was supposed to be a HD SMART TV. When the SONY 65 4K Untra HD came on, it was like looking at real life through a window. The picture quality is so much better. We love it.

We have owned ONLY Sony displays throughout our lives. This new 4K Ultra HD TV provides the same exceptional performance we have come to expect from Sony displays. As a Japan specialist, I'm familiar with most Japanese advanced consumer products, but Sony is head-and-shoulders above the others.

Moved up from a sony 46" 1080p and awesome is all I can say. The 4k is incredible and offers a view unrivaled by any previous TV I have owned. Yes when you turn the TV on there is a slight lag but once the TV is up and running no issues at all. This minor inconvenience along with the delay while it upscales to 4k is slight at best and just down right picky in my opinion. I would buy this TV 10X over and not look back. I am amazed every time I watch TV and even more amazed when I walk by a 1080p set. AWESOME!!!!
