If the video and audio are out of sync, please check the instructions in this link:
When you can watch TV in 4k the picture is amazing it almost looks like a 3D picture. However when watching regular 1080 content with the so called up scaling I don't see a big difference then watching a normal 1080 TV. Not sure yet if it was worth spending the extra money on a 4k tv due to the lack of 4k content unless you have another $600 to buy the sony 4k media player. But like I said 4k pic is amazing. At least I'm ahead of the game when the 4k signal becomes more available.

Hello, the simulated 4K image will vary based on the source content your are playing, we do recommend to use a High speed HDMI cord , check the resolution and aspect ratio of those units. For information please visit the link below:
Was suppose to be 4k at 60hz. Only 4k at 30hz. Misleading advertising.

Great 4K Picture

Before I can recommend this TV to a friend, I would like to know from Sony if this TV has HDMI 2.0 and HDPC 2.2 ports. It will not upscale video feed from Dish network. Great picture from my Blu-ray player.

Hello, thank you for your message. All Sony 4K Ultra HD TVs are already equipped with HDMI® 2.0 and the latest copy protection (HDCP 2.2) that allows you to connect various compatible 4K media boxes.
2014 4K BRAVIA® TVs support the HDCP2.2 protocol when using the HDMI 1 input or the HDMI 2 input on the back of the TV.
NOTE: More information regarding the HDMI 2.0 standard, including HDCP 2.2 is available at HDMI.org.

Jerky Video and AV Synch Issues
on November 27, 2014

I really wanted to like the x850b, but it gave me headaches to watch. There are noticeable lip synch issues. The mouths and the sound were out of synch. The other major issue I had was that when there is a lot of action, the display seemed to go black for brief moments, which makes the action look jumpy and unnatural. I guess Sony thinks these are desirable "effects". However, they just annoyed us. I have always bought Sony TVs, but I do not like the direction they are taking the XBR line. I am going to take a look at some of the other 4k brands.

Excellent TV, HOWEVER, my Direct TV cable bill is $103.00 per month and I have yet to see a program in 4K or one in 3D. You have to pay extra to see either of these features.
I have had this TV for a few months now and I still can't get over how happy it makes me every time I watch it. Great colors, solid features. I highly recommend it.
