I did a great deal of research before buying this model & brand, but it was worth the effort. Picture quality is excellent and watching a 4K video on You Tube is spectacular. Haven't really used 3D yet, but have read 2015 models (850C) won't have it. Expect new model will also be significantly higher cost, so this was a good option for me while you can still get them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As a long time Sony enthusiast, this television is by far the best I have seen. The included apps and dual remote controls make navigating through this set's features a breeze. I have added the FMP-X10 4K media
player and I now have the ultimate 4K experience. Coupled with my Sony
DA1800ES 7.2 receiver, the audio fully compliments the X850B.

The picture on this set is amazing. The user experience is somewhat confusing and not as user friendly as I would have expected, It will take some getting use to.

I'm a BIG TV watcher. I've previously had a 55" HiDef Vizio. I liked the Vizio a lot, no complaints. But I LOVE this TV. 65" of rompin' stompin' viewing pleasure. I never thought I'd use the 'Apps' on a TV, but the Vizio spoiled me to what was possible, and THIS TV expands on that even further. Not much use for the Cloud applications - I'm still skeptical about security, but there's plenty of others to chose from. Bummer - no Vevo, which I use a lot. The browser capability is interesting, but without a mouse, pretty useless. Black and white colors are fantastic, and that's where the difference lies. Maybe other TVs are just as good, but these blacks and whites are awesome. Lots of outputs, with plenty of USB and HDMI channels. I connected my laptop using a wireless HDMI converter (Diamond VideoStream), and it works flawlessly - no lag.
Great TV. I recommend it.
