Best Picture Quality

This TV has the best picture quality I have seen (I also own a Samsung 4K set) when compared to all available 4K sets. The remote(s) are also well thought out. I like everything about this television, except for the fact that you can see the LED (white light) showing through the edge of the frame where the LCD and frame mate, not a show stopper but, it gives the appearance of being made cheaply. I would have given this set a five star rating if not for this design flaw (what was Sony thinking).

Great Television!

This is a great television! The picture is crystal clear. When I set-up the television I used the automatic setting for the video quality in the television and I thought the picture looked really good. A week later I had my cable provider technician out to my home for another issue and he looked at the Sony television, went into the programing in the cable box and set the video quality in the cable box to a higher resolution. WOW! The picture is even better now. If you are a football fan, there is a setting on the television remote to put the television in "Football Mode" while watching a game. Pretty cool. The technology in this television is great. I can change from using the speakers in the television to using the surround system via my stereo very easily. Now, having said that, the speakers in the television are pretty good. There is even a setting so that you may set the speakers in the television up for table top use or for mounting on a wall bracket. There is a lot of network capability built-in to this television that I have not gotten into yet but it looks interesting. Maybe during the holidays I will have time to check it out. If you want a top quality television, this is it!

Met all my expectations

The color and definition of this TV is great the remote was easy to use. I am very happy with this purchase.
The picture quality and colors are outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised that the passive 3D glasses give excellent depth perception in 3D. Sound is lacking, as expected from tiny speakers.

Like the colors on the new Sony. Not happy that I found the same TV at the same retailer for $500.00 less 3 weeks after I purchased, especially when their low price guarantee is only for 15 days.

IT REALLY IS THE BEST PITCHER EVER

I took my time buying a new tv and asked alot of questions. In the end i bought the Sony X850B 4k Ultra TV. The black really stood out when looking at this tv. We watched white Xmas on bule ray over the weekend and i could not believe how the reds and black popped out. Compared to my samsung i had last year it was like the movie was made last year. I am very in impressed with this tv and very glade i bought it. After this i would not buy anything else. Paul Berry
Excellent picture and excellent value but I am very disappointed that there was not any free 4K content (videos) to show off the awesome picture quality. I was able to find a handful of still 4K photographs but only after 30+ minutes of searching the online content. C'mon Sony, you can do better....
