Amazing Television

This TV is the real deal. I previously had a 50 inch Samsung Plasma which went out after only 4 years. I have always owned Sony products including all of the Playstation's, and it's time to stick with all Sony products going forward. The picture quality is excellent on the PS4, and with my Directv service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

really like this tv only downside is that it shutoff and the led blinked red three times i reset it and it has not done it again and i hope it doesnt as i bought this one to replace my 60 inch sharpe that was still working thats why i only gave it 4 stars as far as picture and everything else i give it 5

Difficult to turn on the Sony TV

We love the picture and are pleased. We have two remotes, one for the Sony and one for Cox. It can be difficult to turn on the set and know which remote to use. We need help with this issue.

Hello GeorgeDaVall, thank you for your comment, you can use the IR blaster control that comes with the unit for you to use only one remote. Please follow the steps on the link bellow

Stellar natural image! Maximizes the 1080 feed!

4K is outstanding!
Neflix app is 4K streaming.
Also check out Youtube 4K feeds.
1080 signal is maxed out!
Meaning the difference is like listening to a cd on a cheap stereo to listening to an audiophile component system.
The cd is played at it's optimum level.
Same with the Sony 4K, the 1080 is viewed as it was intended!
Full resolution!

The picture quality is wonderful!! I also really like the passive 3D picture quality on this set. It was easy to setup and I was watching in 10mins. The ability of the set to upgrade non 4K to 4K is excellent. Just watched the playoffs and I have never enjoyed football more!!

A great TV but

This was the second purchase we made of this model in less than 90 days. The first set was delivered and installed by our cabinet maker that
has installed hundreds over recent years but in installing the legs he set the TV against the couch and that was enough to crack the screen which
ruined the set AND it was not covered by the warranty. What happens if a kid runs up and presses against the screen? There should be warning boldly printed on the box . That said the TV itself has a beautiful picture and very good sound and I would strongly recommend it to friends and
family with the warning about the delicacy of the screen.
