Setting up the TV on my own was very easy. The color is excellent. Everyone comments on how much better the saturation and color values appear on my TV compared to their non 4K TV's. I highly recommend this TV to any one looking for a large size TV.

Their really no words to describe what real ultra HD is. Eye Candy comes to mind . Even the old show from the 80's just look great..
Sony put so much soul in to its making. Is support all the popular media format. No more converting video formats. 4k content is not to hard to come by and will only get better as the year goes by. I steam content from my Sony mobile, Sony SLR , My old TV was also a HD but nothing like this one. Great JOB Sony

Overall, the Sony XBR55X850B 4K TV is a very quality TV with superb picture and easy controls. For us, this was a major step up from an 11-year old Sony LCD Projection TV. We feel that the menu system user interface needs improvement as it is not that user friendly. We also feel that the menus should not focus a lot on selling movies, music and the like, but allow us to facilitate choosing between the paid and unpaid channels and the Sony Store.

Sony XBR . Top of the line. The up scaling of 1080P programming has to be seen to be believed. It is so close to actual 4K content that one would be hard pressed to tell the difference at first sight. Although I have only watched a couple of 4K movies it is breathtaking. And the simulated 3D is a cool feature also.
