I have never seen STANDARD definition look so good. WOW! Colors sharp,crisp, vivid. So many features, 3D experience is amazing. Ability to turn anything into 3D. I have all Sony products so it wasn't hard for me to swoop this up. Screen mirroring from my ANDROID devices is a great experience. I can stream my PS3/ PS4 right from the TV. Cant wait for more 4k content. If your gonna get 4k - SONY ALL THE WAY!!!!

I had a Sony Bravia LCD 46" with an outstanding picture. The new 55" has every bit as excellent a picture. Would definitely recommend the purchase to anyone in the market. The 4K resolution gives a seeming depth to the picture.

After having this Sony TV for awhile now, I have to say I really love it. The colors are spot on and vibrant without being over exaggerated. I compared several TV's and it came down to several others and this one. I am glad I chose this one. Of course it is source dependent. I noticed on HBO and Vudo, and Blu-Ray, channels - the colors and edges are simply gorgeous. On a lot of the cable channels you can see the quality of the program lacking. Not the TV's fault but it shows the weakness of the source. If you buy the TV do yourself a favor and watch full high Def with it. Very happy with it.

First off, Im a Sony customer have been since Sony started to make products. I would not go buy another brand no matter what the features or the latest craze might be. I purchased the 55 inch X850B 4K Ultra about a month ago. I have been looking at them for the past two years trying to figure out if the 4K was what it was cracked up to be and if the up scaling really works. Well, let me tell you first hand it does and once you see this picture it's unbelievable. I have Verizon Fios as my provider and every channel is super. The 4K Netflix are better than going to your local movie theater. True you have to pay a few bucks more for the 4K Netflix but it's worth it. So if your sitting on the fence about the 4K purchase fear no longer it works. It's the real deal. Sales guy told me it was a much better picture than HD and it is. Clearer, sharper crisper. No question about it. Features are easy to figure out, apps are great much more than you will ever use.
