With outstanding clarity and true color, this set far exceeds my expectation. A normal 1080 picture is suddenly a 4K-like picture of realism. After owning multiple Sony HD television sets, this is truly the best of all.

Excellent picture, although I have not yet used with blu-ray or 3-D. Hoping it will last longer than my last XBR, which lasted only 6 years with only light use before a circuit board went bad and was not worth repairing.

Traded up from Panasonic HD and I am very impressed with this model. Incredible picture with the upscaling of standard HD. Not to mention streaming 4K from Netflix. It is like being in the room with the people on the screen! Great touchpad remote feature as well. Even comes with two 3D glasses! Real life like colors not blasted like Samsung models. You will not be disappointed.

The TV picture is great -- including 3-D. Sound speakers are smallish and down-firing so their sound is only OK. But, if you connect the TV set with a surround audio system, you can use the TV speakers for news and such but use a much better surround sound system for 5.1 broadcasts or playback of movie media, etc.
