I have had this set about a month. Setup was easy, the box construction really helps this be a one person setup on stand. Streaming is far better than my older LG set. Picture is marvelous overall and I do not have illumination issues in the corners when content is playing - graphic banners, EG Hulu+ banner while waiting for content, is darker in the corners. One issue comes up occasionally, that is an error message when connected to online content that grays out the screen. The message is something along the lines of "Browser will shut down due to internal connection error." It is obviously connected to content but I can not get rid of the grey down and message, even with a restart. I suspect this will be cured with a software or firmware update. Very happy with this TV, would (just might) buy again. The software issue is simply an occasional annoyance and less so than my experiences with some other brands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

excellent tv

very happy with the product but was very disappointed to find that for $1700 it did not come with the detailed user manual. Had to purchase the hard copy for $55. Adobe version was ok but not convenient when computer is not nearby tv.

Color is wonderful , sound is better then most. The one thing that should be upgraded is frame dimming too the much better local dimming. Samsung and LG both offer less expensive 4K sets with local dimming.

Best Picture Quality

Excellent picture quality. Have only NETFLIX for 4K content, 4K is awesome. The only downside is Sony does not offer to rent / buy to watch 4K content from their own library. I do not want to spend another $600 for a 4K streaming box again. Sony should share their 4K content at least from their products. When NETFLIX can stream 4K Sony should also be able to.
